Our DBT Programs
Specialized DBT & trauma treatment for adolescents and adults
At Mental Health Systems (MHS), we believe treatment should be more than symptom management. Our specialized programs are designed to help individuals build practical skills, create meaningful change, and develop lives worth living.
For more than 20 years, MHS has provided Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trauma treatment. We have specialized programming for adults and adolescents throughout Minnesota. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, trauma, substance use, or other mental health challenges, our team can help identify the program that best fits your needs.
We offer both in-person and virtual treatment options, making specialized care accessible throughout Minnesota.
Why specialized programs matter
Mental health challenges don’t look the same for everyone. That’s why MHS offers programs designed to address the unique needs of different populations and experiences.
Our programs combine evidence-based treatment, practical skills training, peer support, and a structured approach to care. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we help clients build skills they can use every day to manage emotions, improve relationships, cope with stress, and create lasting change.
Adolescent programs
Our adolescent programs are for ages 12-18, with specialized teachings based on their age group.
In-person vs virtual treatment
Many of our programs are available both in person and through our Virtu-Clinic. Our outcome data shows similar results between virtual and in-person treatment, allowing clients to choose the format that best fits their needs and circumstances.
With locations in Apple Valley, Edina, Plymouth, Roseville, and Woodbury, along with statewide virtual services, specialized treatment is accessible wherever you are in Minnesota.
Not sure which program is right for you?
You don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out.
Our intake team will take the time to learn about your situation, answer your questions, and help determine which program may be the best fit for your needs. We can also help identify whether in-person or virtual treatment is the right option for you.
